    Hey,

I'm new around here, but not to Toyotas. My first car was an 1987 Toyota Truck (HiLux). It was the smallest thing you could call a truck but I loved it.

Now I have a 2001 Tacoma PreRunner V6 Crew Cab. I named her Sue when I got her back in 2002 at a dealer.

I'm not too interested in doing mods, just upkeep. Sue only has 87,000 miles on her, and I'd like to see her get to at least 187,000.

    See y'all on the forums.

Welcome to the forum. I love the pre taco pickups. Do you have any pics of either of your trucks?

My first truck is long gone. It died it 2000 (blown piston rod if memory serves), and then I got my current ride. There are pictures around some where on my old laptop. I just built my desktop last week and I haven't transferred my files yet. My laptop is Mac, and the new desktop is PC, so file transfers are tricky without paying for a program to do it for me.

I'll log on from the other machine and post some pics.

Thanks. No obligation of course though.

Did your old truck have the 22r? If so that's the first time I've heard of one dieing.

Wow, The Hilux...that truck is what got me started on getting a Tacoma while I was in Afghanistan, they are brand new all over the place there...really cool with 50K dollars worth of Armor Plating... Welcome!

Oh and a gun mount on a roll bar is always a cool option...:)

yes, i am a 30 rock fan, its a great show.

and yes, it was a 22R. it was a secondary car for my family from about 95 till i started driving in 2001. so it stayed parked under a sweetgum behind the garage.
