What would be the best motor oil for my engine? And, Is there a big difference in the reccomended weights of oil for my 2008 Tacoma. I used the 5w20 today. In my 1992 Toyota PU I used a different weight.

i use 0-20w oil. The thinner the oil the better the lubrication. According the the Amsoil website 0-20w mobile 1 leaves .1 mm scoring in the cylinders which is awesome compared to dino oils leaving .4mm scoring. Amsoil and their closest current competitor, Penzoil platinum have score ratings of .03mm making them the best lubricating oils, with the least wear currently.
