What do you do just keep it hosed off well? Out here I keep my frame coated with spray paint and it looks new and I'd like to keep it that way when I move to Pitt

You must have screwed up the application like any typical Filthy fan would.

I put it a few places on my truck before last winter, and its still holding up.

just loosen up a drain plug so engine/tranny oil self lubricates your entire underside.

That's exactly what I do. During winter, if I have a good amount of salt on it, if it gets close to freezing or above, I hit up the do it yourself carwash and power wash it off. I have no more than some surface rust at the welds on my frame.

Wash it as often as you can... Before you come out POR15 that shit... As many coats as you can... My 2011 already has surface rust and the frame paint is starting to come off in some spots... When the humidity goes down I plan on undercoating the whole thing as best I can

Nah but for real....it's common to spray the underbody with oil then drive down dirt roads to "set" it in place. Stays stuck on there, I hear it repels water pretty good too.

    Even google says so.

Next time you're in barkeyville, get ahold of me if you want to meet up. My parents live there.
