So I have a 1996 Tacoma with a great engine and transmission. Single cab. Rusted bed. Frame fish welded in several spots. 97k miles.

Was thinking of replacing the bed. Is it worth it? Believe three of mounts are rusted out. Bed clangs when I hit bumps. Doesn't line up with cab....gas tank mount is also an issue.

Thinking of just unloading it for someone who likes frame and body work. Mechanically the truck is awesome.

I just saw this on Craigs list. Looks like the bed is sitting a little odd. How is the frame?

That's pretty low miles. I would lose the bed and do something custom if it were me. Would make a nice little trail beater.
