I spent 5 hours cleaning my taco last night and I noticed that the rear drivers side was sitting a little lower than normal. Upon further inspection I found a bent rear Spring!!!! I could not believe it! I plan to take a trip to Hagerstown Spring to get it fixed. Sucks. I might just go with a custom AAL and ditch the SuperSprings all together.

 

Any luck with the springs?

buddy of mine works at spring and alignment in Hagerstown near UPS they do pretty good work.... also in my history I have found that a set of junkyard chevy 52" springs are great for making your own packs... basically get the springs from a 1973-1987 K10 take the leaves apart, throw the main leaf away, paint and prime.. take your packs apart and use tacoma main leaf with the rest of chevy leaves

 

I am not sure when it happened but I flexed it out hard a few times. I think it might have been when I charged up that really steep hill. I don't think the SuperSprings were ment to flex like that...

 

Hey thanks for the tip and I am sorry I missed your call on Sunday. Actually that is where I took my truck. I have heard great thing about Hagerstown Spring and Alignment. I hope they'll be able to fix it. If not I'll have to figure something else out. Check out Nick's video, he did a great job.
