Haha yea I hope mine makes it there too. I cleared the check engine light and it didn't come back on during the 30 mile commute this morning. The code was P0705 which I read is the shifter sensor or something of that matter?

Makes sense, you said you had your reverse lights on by accident, which I'm assuming are wired in some way that tricks the lights into thinking the truck is in reverse. You were in drive, on board diagnostics got confused and assumed the shift sensor went bad. I'd say you're fine (in my completely unprofessional opinion).

Haha yea thanks! That's what I was thinking too. The reverse lights trick the truck into thinking it's in reverse, so my shift light shows r and d at the same time, the back up camera comes on, and the reverse lights. It has never caused any problem before, but maybe after a certain amount of time it confuses the system

Well I guess I do recognize your truck as there wasn't too many first gens. And my girlfriend did want to go to the mall but I talked her out of it being that we had at least a 2 hour ride plus 5:00 traffic.

I'm right now trying to recrute a passenger for tomorrow. I'm really excited and slightly nervous, but I guess there is a bit of relief that we are doing easy/medium trails. I'm coming to learn and get a better idea of what my truck is capable of, any support would be greatly appreciated. And I appoligize in advance that I like to ask questions.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I think you will find tomorrow that no one is out there trying to beat the piss out of their truck. You will also find that this group is very helpful.

Okay, almost 6:20 AM and I'm just leaving for Rausch Creek which is 3 1/2 hours away. Looks like I will be playing catch-up today. See you all in a bit.

Hey, I was unable to make it up today for the green and blue trail run. It was mentioned before that not too many guys were going to do black trails on sunday. If I can make it up tomorrow/sunday, is there anyone still interested in doing easy/mild stuff? As I'm not interested in doing black trails myself but don't want to be wheeling by myself.
