I went, I had the tacoma showing inside with my team... kinda sucked that they had a special 4x4 show within the show and the only classes they had were for domestic trucks :/ I love being the red headed step child of the show world right now especially in the 4x4s. in the regular 4x4 inside show class course i didnt place anything either but oh well at least 2 of my teammates took 1st and 3rd in my class

That sucks only Domestic 4X4 category. Don't they know in the compact truck 4X4 category the only two players are Toyota and Nissan. Plus the foreign cars are for tuners anyway so why limit it to domestics??

The Redhead step child, eh. I think they are just jealous of you and your truck... they don't want to lose to a girl.

4x4's are the best unless you want gas mileage, have clearance issues, or are going inexpensive
    .
    (My opinion)

Yeah I have'nt tried and like mine as is so I have no idea. If you "really" wanted to deal with it you could always tape them up and scuff with steel wool.
