no job sercrity here...we go to renew our contracts every three years as per the feds standards / requirements.....
if we failed to meet their expectations or what not they have the right to non renew out contracts.....
AND AGAIN I DONT DO TOILETS . STOPAGES ANYTHING LIKE THAT
I WORK IN THE FIRE PROTECTION DIVISION...WE WORK WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND DO MONTHLY INSPECTIONS TESTING AND MAINT. OF FIRE PROTECTION BASED SYSYTEMS....
AND WE DO ALL HOSPITALS TESTING......
this job is the only reason why i have turned down many city jobs
of which i would get paid sick days"this way i could get paid to be at the beach" and many personal days....
and a much better pay scale......
but i love my job now...and i will stick it out here until it all goes to hell or there is something i just cant turn down

we had a guy not our company but a plumber in the city took a blank cap off of a line with pressure and blew half his face off....
this is why one must be trained and certified......

But I actually have to go into work the rest of the year, Monday through Friday 9-5. I can't "work" from the beach/bar.

 

but you also are not up nightly at say 1am then 4am and so on taking care of the company are you.....
when u go home u kleave your job behind......
hell even when im snorkeling i have a phone around my neck so i can take the calls

and i do all my paperwork at home.....

i think the real problem in this world is people having internet access at work......i see lots of you on here every day during working hours taking food out of your bosses mouths....and runing this place
