    my taco is new too me but ive been offroading my entire life....after you learn your clutch holding pint with your new setup while crawlin things get easier..i wheeled 10x better this last trip then i did on my july trip...2nd is picking lines like you said ive always had a good visual for picking lines ...the biggest thing you can do is always look 15ft ahead of you,not at whats just in front of you...you did good though man, you were getting better an better as the day went on....you have a badass truck i wish i was half aswell built as your rig is...

    those lca skids look good!!!!! and our fj in crime has a rear diff skid gb goin on

    It all depends on how quick Kevin gets my new t case skid to me. I own full skids, just needed a longer t case skid to work for my needs. Can't install transmission skid with out t case skid, so all I have on is Ifs and gas tank skids.

    I buy armor to prevent damage, so I'll wait until I have all of it installed before risking damage.

    If I knew I'd have time to do the install I'd order an arb compressor and rear locker, but since the storm I've worked 6am - 10pm everyday with no end in sight yet.

    I'm getting a Uniden 520xl radio and 3' Wilson Flex antenna. Going to mount the antenna on the hood channel/fender on the driver's side. The radio will fit where the ash tray is in my 1st gen.

    The radio was a toss up between the uniden 510/520 and cobra 19. I decided I liked the buttons/knobs better on the uniden so I went with that.
