You need their crossmember for the belly pan. It goes towards the middle of the truck since their belly pan extends way past the transfer case and needs support.

Skid Row FTW on 1st gens. $200 each piece for a 3 piece set. Not as much belly coverage as budbuilt but theirs seems excessive.

True, I said the same thing about the transmission skid but now I want to get it. But that belly pan looks like a big pain in the ass. Needs to be smaller pieces.

Dang okay it sucks the skid is a good deal but it's still to expensive to buy each piece separately the combo deal for all 3 is a pretty solid deal

Skid row worries me cuz I thought the website was a little goofy

It's really not that bad. I usually put it on the floor jack and position it. Last time, my buddy and I put it on the lift and just picked it up front and back and hung it from two bolts until we got the rest in. It has to come off again soon so I can change the fluids.

I have an ATV floor jack that would probably work like a boss for putting the belly pan on

We would have used the trans jack when it was on the lift, but the pizza was sitting on it.

    Much more important use.

I was also talking about how it gets bent up. Hear a lot of complaints about it being real hard to get back on after a few hits since it's so big it amplifies the effect.
