Nope. Hardly anyone makes it though there. I've only seen 1 jeep ever make it though there and he had a hard time.


I wanna do that grill you have. The shotia or however you call it. With the black mesh. Anyone wanna meet and help me. I have a chrome grill now but was gonna buy a cheap aftermarket one and do it but don't know how to do it.

 

Problem with the cheap aftermarket grills is you still need to get it color matched which is about $100-$150 at a body shop.... Kind of sucks out of the savings of trying to do it yourself. I wish I knew that only 1 jeep has made it through without getting stuck.... The odds weren't on my side.

Ya I was going easy . Got to replace my front cv axle . Its Been fucked up for a month now . But I going to fix it this weekend once the rest of my parts come in .

 

Is your grill a black sand pearl ? If so I'll trade you

 

I have a chrome grill not black. Thats why i wanted a cheap aftermarket one. Too bad like you said the grill is only 40 but then color matching it would be 100 to 150 so it defeats the purpose of buying one. in that case i would just buy a factory color matched grill for 200 but i don't have 200 and was just trying to save some cash. Too bad everything is expensive.

 

Hey, Anyone know where to buy factory paint. I found a place near mine selling black primed grills for 40 lol. Gonna paint it myself and save the dough. I need a spray can and the dealer doesnt have to 209 black code. odd? I need to find a place. was gonna order it online but that takes forever and wanna do it this weekend.

 

Maybe try a larger dealer? Which one did you go to?

 

I tryed braintree toyota and norwood toyota. They have the paint but its just touch up brush kind, i need the spray can.

 

eBay seller "spraycansunlimited" sells color matched Toyota spray paint. I used it and it was a perfect match, as have many others.

There's a place in Dedham that does all the body work for Prime Toyota. I'm sure they have the Toyota black paint or could mix it up for you. I don't know much about painting (I've never done it) but make sure the guy painting your grille does. I've heard that the 'pearl' paints are tough to get right.

 

Wow, that is a deep puddle. Did you get any water inside?
