    No most of them are bought new and just turned into cop cars, some are from being confiscated from drugs or other seizures.

    P.S. I wish though cuz I would def use mine on patrol. that would be awesome

    Just got these new tags, it was really easy and they send you the plates with new stickers that expire when your current ones do. All you do is become a member of the surfrider foundation (I did a regular 25$ one year membership) and then print your confirmation email. Then mail the printed email with a 30$ check payable to OCMD SurfRider, along with a self addressed envelope to this address:

    Then she sends you the application and you fill it out and mail it back so she can verify it and sign it, Then she mails it to the Glenburnie MVA organizational tag department, and once they process your application they mail you the plates :D Im not a big fan of the new 1812 plates and I love the beach and surfing so I figured I'd support a good cause and help keep our beaches clean
