Question for you do you do install or just sell the urd products I want the maf calibrator but I'm intimidated by the install I have a afe intake and a trd exhaust.

 

I am set on the Menzerna line of polishes. Took a long time to really settle in on one brand. I tell you polishes cost more than wax.

I have also read a lot of great things about the Megs 105 and 205 polish system.

 

I just sold my old boat motor and plan on ordering sliders. They will need to be welded on. It's a kit from 4x innovations. Has anyone welded sliders on before or have the capabilitys of doing so for some 1980's porno magazines and some beer?

Welded my 4XI sliders on, but used a buddy's welder, I haz no welder. Might want to check out sliders from marlin crawler or trail gear as well, they're comparable on $$ , may even save ya some on shipping too.

 

Thanks man. Just checked them both out. 4xinnovations is still cheaper by $10. I haven't ordered them yet. I will when I find someone with the capabilities of welding them. I am sure I know someone. Just haven't looked too hard. I still want to search for more pictures of 4x's sliders. I want mine to hug the body as close as I can without ruining the functionality of the sliders.

Ugh, Trails road is like 2hrs from me, isn't their any off roading actually near me? Haha

 

IC, Yeah, I kept mine all the way out that allowed with the kit, to guard against anything from the side, even though the spinny things in the carwash don't like them.. You would have to cut the tube legs down to your preferred length goin your route, but no biggie. I also used heavy angle 1/4"3"x4" iirc instead of the weld-on plates that they give you. That way it gives you an extra weld bead, and more metal-to-metal support on the frame. I'd suggest doing the same. But like I said, I don't have welder, but would help if needed.

Judging by what I hear, a 2 hr ride may not be worth it, from the size of the trail(looks/sounds kinda short). But i'd love the company Im'a gonna go down anyway, rain or shine, in the am. May take my ol' man w me. Ive only checked the trail out on YouTube.. Gotta finish up repainting the skids tomorrow.

Damn. That place looks pretty cool. And who welded your sliders on? I have a friend that welds but I'd rather someone that has done this before.
