I would never get sliders powder coated, just a waste of money if they are used for what their made for

 

I paid 300 for mine and drove down to pick it up from Kevin I used the plate once then took it off.

But I'm more than willing to entertain an offer on it.

 

So after I upgraded my tires from the stock 245s to the 265s I've noticed a pretty decent drop in MPG, I was able to baby it and get 25mpg now even with babying it I'm around 18mpg. And once I lift it it'll probably be even worse. By babying it I mean i was shifting at 2K RPM and not going over 55mph. Any tips on how to get better MPG?

That was my opinion as well when I bought them but the bed liner spray I used isn't keeping the surface rust from coming through I even primed them before painting them that why I'm going the lineX route

 

I run 265's with lift but I'm an auto 4.0 an I get 17's avg around town and what not normal drive and I get high 18's low 19's on trips

 

Are these weld on or bolt on? If bolt on how many holes?

 

They need to have something on there, although I agree powdercoating is pointless. I used rustoleum self etching primer and some black satin overtop. Cost me 30 bucks.

 

They are the bolt on, it uses three holes already in the frame, then you "should" drill three holes in the bottom of the frame for each side.

I see, it is holding up well for me, I've put several coats on tho( not gonna lie, since they're weld-on, it gets to be a pita recoating them) Hopefully line-x is once and done, let us know!

 

Yeah, no doubt, self etch and bedliner for me, its been pretty decent. Did my rocker panels in the bedliner too, its held up well.
