There is a good but of knowlege to it and you only learn by getting out there. Its knowlege of the animals, the land and traffic patterns of the animals, the moon, the winds and weather, the tracks, the sign, the sounds...have to learn when they move, where they move and be there with the wind in the correct direction. Stand hunting has a nack to it too, you have to know exactly where to put the stand in correspondence with the wind direction so they don't smell you.. I usuallt just hunt on the ground in blinds and such near trails and on the edges of feilds. A lot of people just hunt where the animals eat, which is alright...you'll pretty much always see something but it is a little easier that way....for example...if i need meat, i'll hunt where the feed is because i know i'll see them.
More than anything you have to have patience to sit on your ass for hours and just watch...and when they come you have to make moves silently and slowly...

That'll give you a little idea abbout it. Anyone else can lend in their opinins and knowledge. I've only been hunting for about 6-7years but i've been in the woods most if my life. I'll do it for the rest if my life too.

It'll get easier when your hands get bigger and you get stronger over all. I still have little girly hands but i can check any slide/chamber. I also had a fear of pinching myself for the longest time but it really only happens when you don't have your habds in the right place and it just has a feel on every handgun. But i swear It'll get easier for ya

Well, that is where you are over complicating it, just turn the hangun upside down (barrel pointed in a safe direction obviously) over a table and the table will catch the round as you pull the slide back slowly....slowly so that the round doesn't get flung by the ejector. Like i said you'll get stronger dude

I dont know dick about guns, but this guy

Makes me crack up everytime I see it. hahah no idea why.

The most experience I've had with guns is shooting my girlfriends fathers Smith and Wesson .22 revolver which was pretty neat. I've always thought hunting would be pretty cool/fun just never had the chance to do it. I've also thought about buying something when I get my own place in a year or two but havent really put that much thought or research into it.

If anyone ever wants someone to go to a range with them/teach me how to shoot because I'm lame, i'd be down. I'll help pay for something haha
