I have mine set at 0 with the opportunity plate spacer in the front and 5160 in the rear. Sits perfectly level. Rides great and takes a great beating with no issues.

While we are on the topic of suspension, I ordered the 3-lead progressive HD AAL from wheelers about a month and a half ago and am still waiting for them.. They have been on sever back order and can't get them in from Alcan as fast as the orders are coming in. It's not wheelers fault at all but I'm still getting a little frustrated and am thinking about just shelling out the extra money and switching my order to the icon 3-leaf AAL. Anyone have any experience with them? I assume being an icon product and made by Deaver that they are worth the money but wasn't sure how they handled weight.

I havent seen any major complaints about them specifically. Other option if your budget allows it is to get a full replacement pack... overall opinion is that the full packs ride like a dream compared to the AAL's

Yea I mean ideally I would, but I don't have that kinda cash at the moment and I just got new TSB packs at the end of July so my packs are practically brand new still lol I just want a mild lift and to give them a little more beefy-ness. I know the icons articulate more than the HD wheelers and have a better unladen ride quality, but I haven't been able to find if they are softer to the point that they struggle under weight or not.

I guess I could just ask wheelers. Haha

Well it doesn't look like I'm gonna get my new springs and struts ordered in time to have them installed for the October event so If make it to the meet it will be stock trails or bumming a ride with someone on the fun trails.

I have the wheelers HD aal, and I think its fine, not like my rear end hops up or anything. Haven't towed or hauled anything with them yet though

Alright, who here drives an SR5 with red painted badges and a "Tacomabeast" sticker?? I was going to say high to you at the Sunoco gas station on Bel Air road but I was in a rush.

    This is excellent advice.
Wheelers is a reputable vendor with a great track record of service - the delay is disappointing but probably unavoidable.
I waited over 3 months for my front bumpstops when they were out of stock but I had not paid for them first.
    What's the cost difference?

Eric makes some of the cleanest welds I've seen. He just had a baby so I can't speak for his availability but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Yea, I know they're great (Dan has been very helpful and responsive to any questions) and it's nothing that they can really control. I haven't paid for anything yet either, I'm just anxious. haha The wheeler's HD AAL is $159 and the Icon AAL is $214 - roughly $55 before shipping.

I think i just need to chill and learn to be patient haha especially since I don't want the AAL's to get tired from having a toolbox and some constant weight on it. by the time I get these it may be time to get my front 5100s and new tires! planning on being lifted with new tires by the time winter rolls around.

Yeah your probably right, if that job walked in my actual work it would be a $80-100 and take 45min-1hr for reference.
