Is that with diminished value? you should ask about that, it will probably push it over the amount needed to total it.

My lawyer is taking care of that part. I didn't want to get one but there's so much paperwork involved.
Keeping it, USAA warranties the repairs for as long as I own th vehicle. Medically is still on going. I'm seeing a chiropractor who needs to adjust some of the disks in my back and recurve my neck.
I'll look into selling my sliders to pay for a plate bumper or skid plates

Nice! I like my Goodyear Duratreks, they've been good to me and aren't to terribly bad on my wallet. They are the E rated so 10 ply.

Oh yes. Best size for a 2nd gen taco if you want to keep everything as OEM as possible.

Kepp the sliders, theyll save your rocker panels. you should ALWAYS get diminished value as a rule, its a pain to file for but pays off if you ever sell the vehicle, you wont get hit as bad, and sometimes the extra payout for it will total the vehicle.

Only downside ive heard is the sidewalls are kinda thin, so they will get get cut up if you play in the rocks often

Do you know how they calculate loss of value? Is it the amount of the estimate?

Also I'm not sure about thin side walls, I've been through a good bit with mine and haven't noticed any cuts or nicks. But I haven't played in the rocks much either since I lack skids.

Ahhh gotcha. Yea the lawyer is getting his 1/3 but is taking care of all of it. I wasn't looking to make money out of someone's misfortune. I just wanted my truck fixed or a 12 or newer Tacoma, and my medical bills from the accident to be paid.

I do have ongoing treatment at the chiropractor now, I'm not sure how long that is going to take though.

Yeah, not the idea, just want to make sure you get everything your supposed to from the insurance company

hopefully you don't end up with a permanent injury from this... chronic back pain really takes all the life out of a person, and there's not a damn thing anybody can do about it either.
