    It is not hard to find,up in the Mayfield NY area about an hour North west of Albany. The other way to get to the west end of the trail is up RT 309 out of Gloversville I believe, towards Benson. This is an old logging trail, with plenty of rock, and some pretty good mud also. If you talk to the guy that owns the 4X4 shop in Gloversville, NY he can surely give you the details. I was talking to him about it last year, and he was on his way to meet the local Jeep club on it for a trailride that Saturday. I believe most people that go all the way through begin at Mayfield end of it,when we started at the other in an old Generation 1 Tacoma we were alone, so when it started getting hairy,tight narrow and uphill on alot of rock, we turned around.

    I am also from the Syracuse area.

    I'm making a spare tire carrier was gonna follow close to metalmillers design, but i think ima try using two bolts that run inside the rail to mount the tire. See how strong it is aftr i get it done stainless steel onch inch diameter bolts.

    ^^ Nice, I'd b down to hang. As of right now, I'm supposed to leave Sunday, begin work Monday, and have weekends off. That could all change, though. Think it' would be worthwhile to ship my motorcycle out to that area? No truck, unfortunately...... How's the weather this season?

    It depends on what type of motorcycle. The weather right now is nice, but it is getting cooler. What are you doing for work? I have a pretty easy going schedule. Depending on where you are in New Windsor you will need a vehicle. There isn't much going on in the area that you can get to by walking.

    There are definitely some good rides around NY and in Orange County for that matter.

    there are a couple of things in New Windsor that I would understand you are not able to talk about what you are doing so the opportunities are endless there..........:cool:
