Stock Friendly Trails in Maine?

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum,

Anyone know of any stock friendly off road trails/roads/areas in Southern Maine. I just got an 09 4X4 and I want to have a little fun with it. ...but not too much haha! No mods yet and I dont want to break anything.

Let me know of any suggestions you may have on where to go. NH and Northern Maine could work too.

Thanks!

Mark

I was up in that area this winter (from ct) and i found some fun stock friendly nice wide trails in raymond nh, cant tell you exactly where i found them just driving around looking on google maps. There was a couple inches of snow, withot the snow it may be too easy haha. Ive seen other posts on this site with some southern nh trails. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/nor...eet-greet.html

Best places in my opinion are up in Bangor, or west toward Jackman. In both areas there are MILES of dirt.

While i was attending umaine orono we would head out past old town where there were miles and miles of logging roads and random trails that were all stock friendly for the most part. Made a few trips to waldo mt (south of bangor, not sure what town) for more challenging stuff.

Stud Mill Rd. Is one of my favorites (out of Milford/Old Town)

YES! The Stud Mill Rd! I have many fond memories from out there. Some memories are a bit hazy, but I will not get into that... That makes me miss my days at UMaine.

It is a little bit of a hike for me but maybe I will take a little day trip up that way.

Thanks for the imput guys! Much appreciated!
