Hahahahha so true. First lip is terrible. It burns like there is a torch in you lip, then you just feel hot and sweaty, then the nicotine slaps you in the face, you get hotter, dizzy winded and you will either wanna puke or shit your brains out. Dipping is easy after that.

Nah the trains shut off at 12. Game can go into extras and then you have a problem.

Worse, what if you go to a concert? Garden has an 11pm shutoff time, but House of Blues is another story..shows go routinely till 11:30 or later there.

I'd rather the trains run later and the bus lines stop sooner (not sure of the exact time for the bus). Maybe more people would use it that go intown partying.

Good point, milk is a bad example. What I mean is, tax something that the majority of people use in a similar manner as they do tobacco and let's see the outcry.

MBTA trains leave the end stations 30 minutes after the last out. If the game goes into extra innings, the trains will keep running late. The problem with the MBTA (well, one of them) is the last train typically runs at 12 but yet the bars are still open. Want people to take the trains to come in and enjoy a night out on the town AND cut down on drunk driving? Keep the trains open past bar closing time... But wait, that would just piss off the taxi drivers... can't have that. So say if you live in Quincy and are out in Fanuel hall and miss the last train, you're stuck with a $40 cab ride

I think they should run more like a NYC train except the fact that whoever planned the MBTA subway system was a complete moron. They messed up because there aren't any subway lines that run a loop around the city. So if you're at Porter and want to get to BU, you have to take the red line all the way into the city, get on the green line, then go all the way out. Also, the subway lines don't go far enough outside of the city and the commuter rail is not overly convenient unless you work at or near the end station. Lastly, they should run once an hour, every hour, 24/7 with a few more trains running during peak hours only.

So, whaddya say, Mike for Governor, or there is a Mayor election coming up? :D

You got my vote. Many lights for all!

Seriously, I was going to mention the NY system but other than the fact that it runs late I know nothing of it, despite living there for a year.

While the rare time I would use the T would be Redline only and maybe 2-3 on the Green to get to Fenway, I know there's a ton of different trains. I don't see a real financial benefit to it to go for a concert when I can park for $15.

I used to dip in college because all the farmers boys in VT did so it was a good low budget alternative to smoking, sometimes i miss it but i haven't touched it in a long time. I even bought a few pouches of redman chew haha.

I always said if they hit $4 a pack I'd stop. Never did..25 years of it now. Plus getting the health scare will tend to convert one, not liking it burning when I pee

It did lead to that yeah..had blood in my urine so they did an ultrasound and the kidneys were ok. However, as a smoker I am at risk for bladder cancer so they did the scope to examine the bladder. It burned to pee for a week after that.
