Legally, if you get someone who will follow the letter of the law, retrofits are illegal. You can't put HID's into a housing that was not intended to have them. Also, I don't believe the projectors have a DOT stamp on them. That being said, I've passed with my motorcycle with just plain HID's and with my retrofit. If they're aimed and function properly, you shouldn't have a problem. I would keep the orange side reflectors in place.

What's holding the other side of the tie down, the one going over the seat?

i wish there was an LED DRL that was brighter than the incandescent bulbs we have stock. I would like to run LED's, and am all wired up for it, but the ones i had from CSjumper were dull as fuck.

I know they are technically "illegal" but seeing a bunch of people do them on TW, I was wondering if anyone has been hassled. I would hate to drive all that way, trade him my sock lights, and not be able to use the ones I traded for = me buying another stock pair.

The strap went over the seat to the OEM installed D-ring on the passenger side the over to the OEM installed D-ring on the driver's side where it was wratched down.

There have been a few cases where people have been hassled in other states. I don't know as if I've seen one in MA specifically. Personally, I usually go with the tiny, small town garages for inspections.

The new trucks have D-rings up front?!?! That's awesome, I had to drill new ones into my bed. The 2007 didn't have a heavy tie down at the front of the bed :(

I haven't had any issues with getting a sticker with retros or hid bulbs . Guess it all depends on where you go to get the sticker . I go to the same gas station every year .

Be careful, I looked into it and the guy told me that if you actually use your sliders (which I don't 90% of the time) the line x will peel off...

Nice! I don't have those :( I mounted extra d-ring up front where the drain holes are to tie the bike down.

Mike, you probably have them, your truck is newer than mine.
