Yes Rob the cc speakers sound better. I think because you dont have those shitty headliner speakers crackling. The stereo was louder also but it is also a diff head unit

Well no group buy on the iron man lift. I priced it out at 880 plus 52 shipping for a total of 932. Not bad for a complete lift including rear leafs

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
That sucks, still a good price for what you get though. You are probably still under warranty have you thought about trying to get the TSB leafs?

If you have them in the future i might want one for a spare. I have a full size spare now on a 16" wheel, but down the road i might get a spare scs wheel so i have something with ideal backspacing/offset. Plus it would be cool to do a spare tire carrier in the bed

That's not bad at all! Shipping for $52 is a steal especially since it includes new leafs.

Evan mentioned TSB springs, if you go that route, get an AAL to go with them very shortly after you get them, the sooner the better. If you put an AAL on a brand new leaf pack, they will last significantly longer than one added to an older, worn in leaf pack.

What you got? That size looks to be about an inch taller and an inch thinner than what I have now.

Yeah, I want either a big thumper or a supermoto. I think I'm looking 400cc and up, the smaller ones are too light and get blown around at speed and some of them can't even hold highway speeds. Plus the torque from those large displacement singles is amazing!

I had one guy who wanted to trade me his F650GS but I backed out. Damn things apparently have an 'issue' where the front axle mount breaks away from the fork.

I will admit, that is one of the reasons I'm getting rid of the sport bike. I really like it, but you never feel like you're really pushing the bike. 50 MPH feels like a crawl. Kind of like how a small shitbox hatchback can be more fun to drive than a 911. You can drive the hatchback to the very edge of it's limits where as the 911 is much more capable but you'll never be able to push it on a public road (at least not for long). So, it needs to go and I'd like to replace it with a dual sport. I've got my eye on one at the moment :)

I would love to have one of those but they are tough to find used. They look like they would be a blast to drive and I'd probably get myself in more trouble with that than with my current sport bike!

Mine handles pretty well but isn't exactly 'flickable'. My old CBR600 was easy to throw around, the 750 is heavier but the handle bar kit helps you get some leverage on it. More of an aggressive sport tourer. It's comfy in corners but still at home on long highway stretches.

Riding to the limit is how i trail ride, throttle all the way back and front wheel off 65% of the time, I just cant keep it down. My bike is 410lbs wet so the blowing around factor isn't there. I have ridden in 40mph wind and cross winds and yeah i got blown around but i just lean to them.

I like thumpers a lot like you said the low end torque is astonishing I love it. Even with my 250 it's got some balls. I dragged a CR250F on the asphalt in some abandoned industrial lot and i won by a long shot. One thing about the XL250R is mpg it's terrible I get 4 hours of WOT trail riding on a tank, I believe it's the dual carbs. For 27 year old bike with 3500 miles the engine is flawless and runs more than strong. I need new fenders and a new cowl. Long story short the bike stood straight up on a hill climb. but then again with my DOT dirt im not surprised
