Did you guys use a cutting wheel on a grinder?

    In line.:D

When i had 4.5 BS and 0 offset ,i didn't hit the cab mounts or the inner rear fender wells, now with 3 5/8" back space it hits pretty much all the time.
    Craigslist one?

    Still!

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I started cutting mine with a cut off wheel with my grinder, but after a few minutes i switched to a sawzall with a lenox gold metal blade. It went alot quicker with the sawzall, then i just had to straighten out and smooth my cut with the grinder.

Sorry dude I overlooked your post . The only problem would be finding the time to do it because you live pretty far away and I'm really busy the next few weekends . Bachelor party,2weddings, camping wheeling trip.

Yes yes very much alive. Very busy. Tough for me to keep up with all of New Englands "BS" :D.

Back for the summer though. With my new job I'll be able to throw in that 3" lift finally along with some other junk the truck doesnt really need

PM's are much easier for me to keep up with.

Yes Denis, the after market one. $75..........Thank's, i owe you a six pk finder's fee. lol. It will do the job until i get plate bumpers. Rob located an Oem one for $150 which is nice but I cant see spending double for something temporary ( a year or so )

My opinion is anything you do to the rear shouldn't affect alignment enough to say so. There's really no adjustment in the rear, either it's square or it's not. Have someone drive behind you on a long, flat straight and make sure the rear is tracking straight and you're good. There is a tiny bit of adjustment where the axle pin slips into the top of the axle but other than that, it won't affect front camber or toe. If you make a large enough adjustment, you might end up affecting the front caster a bit but I wouldn't think it'd be enough to warrant another alignment.

The shackle flip can add lift but allows you to use a longer shackle for a lot more flex in the rear. I wouldn't add a longer shackle with the stock leaf pack though, it'll just crap out in like a day.

I'm alive! Going home today (was at my moms). Taking my ibuprophin every 8 hours.

My jaw is sore and I have minimal swelling but it's a lot better than I expected! I'm happy.

Don't care. Got a cute primary care doctor as well ;)

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Shackle lift I was checking out: http://www.armortechoffroad.com/2005--2013-Tacoma-Shackle-Flip-Kit-for-OMEDakar-Springs_p_345.html

    Adds 3/4" of lift.

I would do all of the work at once and then send the truck out for alignment. That's just me.

Garbage series in the beginning. sure their engines are strong and will fit in just about anything. But why spent the money to put a chevy motor in something when you can put a ford engine in it. I am bias tho and I wont let my heart away from ford lol back at the shop on Saturdays only

    Need I say more...?

    I'd prefer a coyote 5.0 or a crate 427 to a Chevy motor.

I had GREAT luck with the 2009 crate 342 stroker and the 2007-2008 crate 427.

U paid 15g for a engine when you were 13 years old?
