Anybody good with window 7 ?

I turned on my laptop today and I go to sign in . It comes up with this .

The user profile service failed to logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

Anyone know how to fix this? I've had the same password since I got the computer so it's not a matter of forgetting the pw.

Dealer is telling me my rim may sustain damage during extraction of broken lug nut. Also said they would likely ruin the stud. I told them to give me the replacements and I'd go home and JB weld the broken piece on to extract it--thoughts???

Hit it with a hammer, if that doesn't do it, then it's clearly an electrical problem

In all seriousness though, I get that every so often on my work computer and it's always something to do with my companies security settings. On my work computer it means there was an error loading my user profile or my computer did not recognize it was me to load my user profile so I get logged on with a blank desktop, none of my shortcuts or files. I usually just restart and it's fine. On a home computer, I have no idea what it means.

Hell no, they just want an open invitation to go to town on your truck and not have to worry about the consequences. There has to be a way to get that lug nut off without damaging the wheel. Stud might be questionable depending on what actually happened. I'll second what Billy said, post up a picture. They do make lug nut extractors for when those key things break or corrode. Pep Boys removed one for me and even those guys didn't break the stud or my wheels in the process.

I have a lug extractor set. Used it plenty. Never damaged a stud or a rim using it. Might just be them disclosing a worst case instance. tell them its fine, they break it they replace.

Yeah, then they'll hand you the bill for all the parts at the end. I'm assuming they were telling him the wheel might sustain damage to get themselves off the hook in case there does happen to be damage at the end.

They said they would fix any damage. They were saying they were worried about it being frozen on and I said NO f'n way it would be based on my recently installing the spacers and applying anti-seize liberally. At any rate I shouldn't have to pay for anything

lol. The roads around my house suck. Going for a ride does a really good job of mixing both stabil and kidneys, haha.
But I agree with the concept.

When I worked at dealer we used to take a socket and hit it on the nut. It would grab good enough to remove it with an impact gun. Usually the lock isn't very tight compared to stock

This shows what broke off--that cap with the key way for the socket.

This shows the end result of the extraction--an exposed spacer stud. They ordered new keyed lug nuts and told me that the stud might need replacing. I think I can run a die over it, if needed and be done with it. Doesn't appear they damaged the rim at all thank God.

TRD Lug nuts are crap. I have broken 3 of the key sockets. The last one I had to drill out all the pieces before I could use the new key.

Take an impact socket probably around 22-26 and hammer it over the nut and hit it with a impact gun. Comes right off

Started the truck to come home and the radio was on and playing but the display was out and none of the radio controls worked. I could control radio with the steering wheel controls but still no display until I got about amile from the house and then all was back to normal. :notsure:
