They were put in no specific order :p Also, no need to rush the snow, I haven't even changed the oil on the snow blower yet.

I always warm up the truck, I just don't want the A/C running when I am trying to blow warm air on the windshield. The A/C mod lets you decide whether or not the A/C will dry the air when you use the defrost by leaving the compressor off unless you engage the A/C button.

But yes, getting the UCAs done before it's 15 degrees out would be nice.

Flattery will get you everywhere, Sir. I wouldn't have been sober if I was in my late 20's.

I'd vote 1 and 3 then 2 if there's time. 3 is really quick and easy and I see 1 as the most important as it impacts how the truck drives and handles.

I have no recollection of performing the A/C mod on your truck :D

I double checked the paperwork after your post and they are made by McGard. Do you think the gorillas are less robust? I know the other 5 lug nuts per wheel are great--they are the type with the splines all the way around. I thought of just getting 4 of those but kind of like having 2 different kinds per wheel

Learned something else it was unaware of during my lugnut research, maybe some of you already knew but if not check this out. Apparently it is very important to support the tire/wheel when initially snugging the lugnuts. According to the gorilla site this allows each one to properly center. I wonder how many tire places follow this

EDIT: not so critical with the acorn style nuts-- d'oh!

I would agree, but good practice with both types. Using the proper procedures to tighten the lugs is paramount to safety and proper performance.

I've always just held the wheel(s) up and screw the lug nut down with my hands till they are all seated in the center. Then I set them to spec

Just ordered OEM Inner/ outer TRE's and Lower Ball Joints. Might as well just change everything out while i'm down there. Have poly steering rack bushings that need to go in as well.
