Mine keeps doing the same thing Jason. It's kinda terrifying when someone is downhill from you and you're trying to stop.

Mine likely will get pulled as well, and to hell with the stupid light on the dash. I pulled the fuse on my 99 (did the grey wire mod anyway), and then tore the dash apart to yank out that annoying little light.
Error lights on my dashboard are a pet peeve, so if I DO pull the ABS fuse I'm going to be putting it back in once it's done snowing. I'll probably wire up an interrupt switch at some point, so I can just flick it on & off at will.

    Stupid ABS.

There's a write for a ABS kill switch mod somewhere on here, i know there is one specific to TRD offroads, i believe there is another for non trd offroad second gens

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Going in for my alignment tomorrow. Wish me luck explaining the setup to the tech.

Also, I was thinking about setting the spc balljoint to the "c" position for a little extra clearance to the rear fender well.

Anyone have any good ideas for mod related giftcards for christmas gifts? I never know what to tell family for my gift ideas so its always clothes of giftcards to like crutchfield or best buy. Any offroad shops that you know of that offer giftcards and are easy to purchase online? I looked quickly at my favorite vendors' sites like BAMF, SDHQ, DSM, none of them have a easy way to purchase giftcards.

Send me a check I'll make a gift card for skid plates lol

Guess it depends on what you need or want for off-road . Lots of venders have gift cards available .

Lol. If you can make a gift card does that mean i can make an IOU? I dunno what i am looking for when it comes to vendors. Lights, shocks, armor, recovery, whatever. Just wondering if there is a good one stop shop that is easy for someone to buy giftcards from.

    Which one?

Those generic gift cards are awesome. You can spend them anywhere you want. Master Card, Visa and Amex all sell their own. You use them just like any credit card.

    Chris,

FYI, I set my SPC ball joint at D when I had 2.5 " of lift. I asked the tech. to swing the caster adjustment back and forth, 1.5 to 4 * of caster was easily possible (in my case). I am now at 3" of lift and caster is set at 2.8* ( with adjustment remaining).

Ya, it's just been a matter of finding time when we can both swap parts. Hopefully the bumper, full set of skids, and sliders will take some of the harshness out of the 620lb Eibachs.

Make sure he doesn't put shitty parts in so he benefits from the swap and saves time :smack:

Wheels and tires are gone Wednesday :( $1,000 in my pocket though! Then I pay off the bike and sell the bike title in hand.

    Lol...

"Why do those sliders look like lengths of 2x4?!"

I hear you guys got some pretty serious ice over the weekend down around the Boston area? We were lucky enough to get a couple inches of snow before it switched over to freezing rain, then back to snow.
