Any of you riders have any experience with Pirelli MT66 tires(photo below)? I need to put a new set on the Suzuki (again ) this spring and I don't want to go with the Dunlop D404's again. I've only been getting 3-4k out of a set with the 404's, and I'm sick of buying tires every spring. These Pirelli's are around the same price and the reviews online are good, but I was looking for some opinions I trust.
I realize that bike tires don't last as long as car tires, but the lifespan of the 404's is ridiculous. I'm a pretty conservative rider, and I mostly use the bike to commute with during the summer. I got 9k out of the first set of Dunlops on my Ninja, and the Bridgestones I have on it now have got probably 3k on them and they still look like new.

Hell no, I don't have the 5.4, I have the 5.0L. I did some research and made sure I went new enough to NOT have the 5.4L. The 5.0L doesn't seem to have any common eye openers, at least not that I'm aware of. I'm sure there are horror stories out there but if you look hard enough, you'll find them with any engine.
It's just plastic, that thing would take all of about a minute to cut by hand! Worst case, have him mail the whole f-in thing.

Clearly a fabrication. The words "great suggestion" and "Alex" only appear together in sentences along the lines of "That is not a great suggestion, Alex"
    :D

That's not entirely true, 'Great suggestion, Alex' could be said albeit with an extremely sarcastic tone or followed by one of the following  :brianr::jerkoff::bananadead::smack:or :der:

That may be the answer but I just didn't need the whole thing nor did I want to pay to ship the whole thing. I guess you have to pay to play.

If you can ship it and cut it for less than $200 you're saving money. All you need is a semi-large band saw, and a little creativity to create a jig which will keep the manifold perpendicular to the aforementioned saw.

I was gonna give it to a machine shop we use all the time to face it after I or he cut it.

Perfect. I think you probably want to be the one making the cut, or even let your machine shop do it (as they may have the right saw).

Pirelli Diablo Rossi II Corsa i paid around $230 a tire, plus mounting and internal balancing, it was like buying tires for my truck. Love them, excellent! But I blew the back tire prematurely and now it has 700 miles on it in that pic
