    Damn.
My featherweight cousin (she's probably 110lbs soaking wet with her pockets full of bricks) dropped a 10lb baby a couple of years ago. She didn't gain much weight while she was pregnant, either, so she just looked like a skinny girl who'd swallowed a boulder.

I did the oil in the gearbox and tcase today. Even after 60K. the original oil in the tcase still looked like new. Also, a 15/16" socket seems to fit slightly better than a 24mm socket on the drain/fill plugs. So far with the MT-90, there's less of a notchy feeling when shifting between 1 > 2 and 2 > 3.

Just realized you had an MT. Have you ever hear a clank noise when slowing down soon after a takeoff? I've noticed for awhile I go 1st to 2nd then slow to stop then there's been a clank type noise. For the life of me can't figure it out.

Where does the clank seem to be coming from?

Most likely it's your driveshaft. The autos do it a little bit to. Actually most of the newish trucks that use a 2 piece driveshaft do it as well. I hear other people complain about it at work.

Not a clue, it doesn't happen all the time but usually when it does it when I'm slowing down after not going very fast. Most times i hear it when I shift into neutral as I coast into a stop. It sounds external though.

Interesting, I guess that makes sense. Wish I was more mechanically inclined when it comes to vehicles.

It could also be the gas sloshing around in the tank. I used to hear the noise when pulling into my driveway at night.

I've noticed that before but, It's definitely a metallic clank noise. I think the suggestion about the drive shafts sounds like a viable culprit.

COULD be the lockout on first gear opening back up once you go under a certain speed?

X2 on the driveshaft! I get it on my auto I believe it to be the slip joint compressing with the rebound of the center support bearing(carrier bearing) when forces transfer from a load to a non load state.

I saw one article where he allegedly told her she'd better not tell anyone because he was all she had in this world. If it really started when she was 11 or 12, that could have really done some damaged mentally.
Make sure your u joints don't have play in them. Otherwise, I agree with others, probably one of the other common noises and no need to worry.

On another note, I can finally join the hunting ranks in MA. Just successfully completed the hunter ed course. Look out Bambi :D
