So has anyone gotten the "New England Protection Package" done to their truck from a dealer? Here's the email from my dealer, prior to taking delivery. I loled at the last sentence...but after thinking about it for a while, the full detail alone would be worth a few hundred. And I would like some type of protection against rust, which I'm quickly learning can be an issue with these trucks:

"[FONT=&quot]Also, in preparation for delivery, I would like to explain our New England Protection Package. We offer a 3 part process/warranty. Interior, exterior and undercoat (sound shield) The interior protects against stains to your interior, seats and carpets. The exterior is a paint sealant, that protects against acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap and salt. The under coat protects the undercarriage against, salt, sand and the liquid chemicals we use on the roads. It also makes the vehicle quieter. All three products come with a 5 year warranty. Every six months you are entitled to reapplication which includes a full cleaning, inside and out for 5 years. The whole package is $695.00. You sound like someone who takes care of your vehicle so, I thought you would appreciate the opportunity to protect it."

So 5 years worth of undercoating and detailing, 10 in total, for $695? Basically a complete interior, exterior, and undercarriage detailing for $69.50 a piece. I'd do that!

Got hired at tedeschi's for $9.50 an hour, got to bring my best friend/coworker from 7/11 over there because she was working at dunkin in Tewksbury and hates it, and my new boss gives raises regularly. He said in 2 months I'll get bumped up to $10 or possibly a little more an hour, and I'll just keep getting more every few months

Yea I would love that. Every 6 months they pressure wash the underside and apply that coat to the frame? Along with detailing? That sounds like a steal, I hate cleaning the bottom of my truck its miserable.

I agree about the Boston thing. Too busy of an area for a meet. What about another Gillette Stadium meet?
