Those sport springs only have like 60k miles on them before I went to the 885s. Which were stiff even on my DCLB set at 0. 883 or 884 would be much better then the 885. I can't say if it would be better then the sports/stock coils set at the 2.5.

883, 884 and 885s are all the same spring rate. 884s will give you around 2" of lift with a v6 4x4, you'll get more with a reg cab i4. How much more is a bit of a guessing game.

If that's the case. I wouldn't recommend them without armor/bumper on an I4 reg cab.

Fred if I had to choose I would go with sliders over springs for right now (that's what I did at 1st). Sliders give you that protection and you might actually like the ride with the springs. If not you can update later.

    Morning, Faces.
    Happy Finally Friday!!
Between traveling all last weekend (on not enough sleep) and the GF being sick all this week (so also not enough sleep) this has been a long-ass week.

Of course, tomorrow I have to do some x-mas shopping. :frusty:
So I'll probably be :drunk: by noon.

Super subtle packaging makes me glad I don't have any neighbors close enough to see/read what was left on my front doorstep all afternoon yesterday.

My dad is staying at the Senior Center in Andover (because he can't get into the house easily), and today apparently the nurse dropped some ointment for his wound into the trash, then dug around to find it and tried to use it, nonchalantly like that's a regular occurrence and nothing was wrong. Mind you, he is prone to infections because of his anti-rejection meds, so he is immunosuppressed. That asshole nurse could have potentially killed him by doing that. A flu or cold can kill him!

Needless to say, between my step mom and him, I'm amazed the cops weren't called. They're both rather vocal. But regardless, that's FUCKED up! What medical professional would have the audacity to do something like that!?

That's terrible! Did you tell anyone at the place about what the nurse did? That crap shouldn't be overlooked.

Oh yeah, they most certainly did! My dad is very "my way or the highway" and enjoys yelling at and cutting people down.

They filed a complaint with a social worker there, and he's being moved to a new facility tomorrow.

The shitty thing is, that **** takes care of the elderly. How many old folks got infections or some sort of sickness and died because of what she has done in the past!? Absolutely despicable

    Morn' boys,

I'm off until the 5th... :D It's one of the only positives for working in the Aerospace industry.

Failing to follow infection prevention protocol is fairly common in the health care industry. For example, antibacterial gel (or new gloves) should be used prior to touching the patient or any items that they need to care for the patient. Any needles, wound care products, etc shouldn't be placed on the bed or bed tray after being exposed for use but should be placed on a sterile pad if needed. FWIW the dirtiest thing in a hospital/convalescent room is the TV/nurse/bed adjustment remote. There's hospital grade anti microbial wipes that the facility should have available. Probably in a white plastic container with a purple lid. Have them leave a container and wipe everything down (bed rails, bottom of the bed table, etc...)

I hope to never have to stay in the hospital for a long time.

I hope she gets fired. That's absolutely wrong
