Solid steel frame made from 3/8" thick steel flat stock, welded together to make an indestructable frame.
Three separate mounting brackets which anchor to the factory transmission skid plate, and both left and right front lower control arm brackets.
Full isolation of skid plate to the vehicle frame is provided by high density polyurethane leaf spring bushings located at each mounting point. This helps to make any impact less jarring.
Quick bolt-on installation, no drilling required. Only tools required are a 1/2", 9/16", and 3/4" wrenches. Install time is less than 30 min.
Super strong rollers to help prevent getting hung-up on any obstacle that comes in contact with the skid plate. Rollers are made from 1.5" steel tubing with .125' thick walls, strong enough to take any beating without denting or deforming, and they are coated with Herculiner coating to provide a coating that can take a beating without scratching or cracking. Rollers spin on solid Delrin bushings.
Spacing between rollers allows for better engine cooling, and is easier to wash any mud out of after a good mud run.
Easy access to oil pan drain plug for oil changing.
Smooth transition to factory transmission/transfer case skid plate reduces the "Shovel Effect" of the factory skid plate. Anyone who has wheeled a TJ without an engine skid plate knows what that means.
