    Hey Ben, after some quick research it sounds like those breathers on the starter are really drains. There's a thread on here asking about extending them and someone pointed out that the end with the gear isn't sealed.

    How were you pulling the truck out? Were you using a tow strap like a yank strap?

    negative. tow strap through both shackles and then a chain hooked to my strap and his hitch reciever. he was about 10 ft down a little bank in about a foot of snow so i couldnt get down close to him. wasnt yanking though just in reverse pulling.

    why you no put in middle 2 bolts?

    hmmm.......

    I know they are not installed because the other mount is not bent or should I say sure as hell doesn't look bent.



    slightly...lol....that shits fubar now. Once you bend the mount it's time to beat them back and gusset them.

    Something was not done correctly I'm assuming. I'm guessing the middle 2 bolts were never bolted and the snatch was very very hard. My bumpers the same exact design and you have pulled me out hundreds of times with no issues :D


    The real question is why Thayer no pull from rear???? Never pull in reverse silly

    both middle bolts were on a tight the nut pulled with the bumper in the middle. and no wasnt yanking.

    you stripped the middle two nuts right off the posts and they didn't bend the mounts and you weren't pulling hard?

    well that's a first for sure....

    I have seen the same exact design bumpers pull some pretty dam beefy shit and I mean full pulls like tards and nothing got bent.

    We shall have to do a thorough investigation at the meet
