Hey guys, first post here, don't know how I've been a tacoma owner for so long and just registering today... But anyway, hoping I can get a little help from you guys...
I drive an 03 4wd xtd cab I have 175k with no mods. I recently had some work done on the truck, 4 new Michilin LTX M/S's, new struts, shocks, alignment and an outer tie road on the driver side. Since having all the work done, I've been back to the tire shop 3x, 2x for a spin balalnce and the last time for a road force balalnce, neither of which have cured my problem.
I drive a lot of highway and after being on the highway for about 30 min I start getting a vibration, nothing too serious, but def annoying. Prior to the 30 minutes driving the 70 mph my truck handles awesome, smooth as can be. After the 30 minutes, the vibration is there and doesn't go away.
I'm pulling my hair out, I'm currently thing possible ujoints, but the vibration is there regardless if the drivetrain is under load or not, in gear or neutral, still there. I'm stuck, can't think of what else it could be, or could it still be the u joints?? Anyone ever experience anything like this? I've had bad u joints in past trucks and it always seemed like an easy diagnosis as they didn't "wear out" they just rattled me out the truck one day... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks guys
