I need to get stuff done & sometimes less is more. Whenever someone is over I end up abandoning my project and helping theirs or stopping and starting while grabbing tools.

This weekend is engine prep on both. After that is miles of wire. Neither conducive to wrenching on multiple trucks. I need focus because both are my weak points.

after that is should be cool out and perfect for a mod day / night bbq.

Getting a small SUV, after driving Tacoma's for the last 15 years I need something different.

 

Fabio had them sent to his house in a black shrink wrapped bag.. You def couldn't make out what was in it. I'm still goin with the delievery was made to the wrong house, whether near or far bottom line it wasn't my house...

 

had to measure compressed suspension. my truck without rear shocks is a death trap above 30mph....even for a 2 mile drive. soon as I hit the first pothole field I though I was going to bounce into the woods

Sucks bro, worked on an old Camaro and lost a ton of parts in the mail, figured someone jacked them, ended up getting my money back and buying parts local. Also, FedEx blows around by me and the asshole leaves packages by the road, doesn't even get out of the truck, just punts them out the door. So I wouldn't be surprised if someone takes my shit one day.

Toms river canoe and kayak race in the morning, not sure what I'm doing after that. 4 day weekend FTW!

And I installed a new pre hung front door last night. Got started when I got home from work and figured it would take a while, thought I'd end up working on it all day today... It went so smoothly I couldn't believe it. Still need to do the trim and storm door and paint and shit, but it only took 2 hours to get the new door in.

 

Nice! I love when home projects go easier than expected. I'm gonna be getting some of those in the near future.

Good job on the door! Mine was a PITA. When we pulled the old one out, some of the plaster wall came with it. And of course on those old houses, nothing is plumb.

Damn, you guys sure trust this BPF guy! I've actually always wanted to see one of those go on. I was helping a buddy a couple of weeks ago putting on some rocker guards on his wrangler. When really looking at it, the body lifts don't look too bad. Sure they're worse on a quad cab truck though.

I'm still scouting out my next work SUV so I am looking at all of them. Take a look at the Grand Cherokee with Altitude package. Everything is blacked out instead of chrome or color keyed. I saw one at Sansone on Route 1 that was silver with blacked out grill, headlights, and rims. Looked pretty damn sharp. Sticker was around $38k.

 

Man, I need this weekend. Anyone else just completely drained?
