3 of our transmission trucks use 285 duratracs and they blow through a new set every year. Tread wear is horrible IMO, multiple blown sidewalls, chunks of tread ripped the fugg off.

    I'll pass

I'm not saying you should buy duratracs.. I had a bad experience with treadwrights and posted my opinion about them

That was my original plan. But for a 15" wheel, they don't make anything bigger than a 31" which is what I currently have. They have a link for 33's but when you click on it, it says discontinued. Don't really want to buy new wheels as with 257k on the clock, I don't want to dump a boatload of money into it. Although, I keep saying Emily will be driving it one day. :D

I had them on my 2010 when I sold it. Great tire. And I had them in the P rated version so it didn't bog down the 4 banger. Always wanted something a little more aggressive though.

Funny thing is I bought them when they first came out. For 265/75r16's, I paid $114 each. Wish I could still get that deal!

I was trying to remember what your other set of tires was. The tread on those things looks great!

So you're comparing a stock car to highly modified cars?

200HP in a 2800lb car isn't really that bad though... Not amazing, but not bad.

 it only took me 12ish miles to figure it out. 24 miles of shitting my pants, I mean off roading alone and in the dark was enough for me for that weekend lol
