    excuse me? how is a tank that needs to be refilled more reliable than having a device that only needs to be connected to the battery of your truck?

    yes. just need some adapters.

    if you're referring to the arb compressor possibly failing, then yes i understand where you're coming from. however i don't have any doubt that my compressor will last much longer than I expect it to.

    I'd be more worried about driving around with an air tank in my bed that could potentially start leaking and I wouldn't know it until I needed it.

    Going back to the "power delivery" statement, what is more reliable? Having your own generator, or having a bunch of battery back ups?

    It really comes down to preference and individual situation like most things in life.
    Each has its benefits.
    OBA
    - Unlimited supply
    - Can operate lockers
    - In the long long long run it would be cheaper (assuming a good performing system)
    - No recurring costs
    CO2
    - Very fast
    - Can run air tools
    - Portability (grab the tank and take it to a friends truck that needs an air tool for example)
    - Cheaper initially
    - Simple

    Each has its downsides.
    OBA
    - Many points of failure
    - Slower (unless you spend $$$)
    - Can be complicated/difficult to find a good spot for it
    CO2
    - Limited supply
    - Have to get refilled
    - Can't operate lockers

    Really? Seems like that would be a very complex thing to setup. You would need an electronically controlled valve right? Unless you were you do it by hand. I'm sure it can be done, but seems it would kill some of the advantages of CO2 and be hindered by the limited supply.

    Yep.
    Not really, just a regulator and the usual suff; however you then run the risk of running out of locker :p

    IMO small compressor for lockers and CO2 for tires/tools would be sweet

    My friend wants to know if his 285/75/16 on stock trd 1st gen wheels will work without spacers. I never tested mine without the spacers. He has a first gen
