    Always worth a shot. IDK about your school, but mine was very willing to work with financial aid. I know very few people who don't receive any form of aid and some of them come from a lot of money.

    I had a scholarship that paid the first semester of tuition in college, and worked a student job to pay tuition/room and board all the other years.

    I'm just saying if I needed employment I wouldn't wait for people to call me back after blindly throwing out 40 job apps if I was so broke I needed unemployment. I'd dig ditches first while waiting for the call. Not playing x-box sitting on my ass on unemployment.

    There is nothing wrong with unemployment. You pay into it so you have every right to use it. In my 8 years in my career I've had to go on it twice, once for two months once for two weeks. Could you go out there and get a shit labor job that's a fraction of what your salary was in your career? Sure but why not put that time towards updating your résumé, portfolio and doing job apps?
