    I need 5100's put in up front on my new 2015 Double Cab 4x4. I went to a local place and they want 350.00 to put them in with alignment.Seems kind of steep

    well you need an alignment regardless...so find out how much that will cost and subtract it from 350.

    You need to have the right tools or this will be a challenge.
    If you find people, use liquid wrench daily on all bolts you will be removing during the process for about a week prior. You will do a lot less cutting that way.

    the top nut on the shock can get stuck at a point where your wrench doesn't have a grip point. mine had no rust at all but was stiff as hell.

    Yes, get the additional bushings, if you don't need them, you can always have them just in case. The $350 is quite reasonable for a shop to do with alignment. Just be sure to set the struts where you want them before handing them to the shop, and be sure the spring perch is installed correctly. If someone comes over and does this at your house, make sure to mark the alignment cam position, then disassmeble them to lube them up. I don't recommend anti seize. Instead use a high quality grease such as Lucas' red n tacky, this way this cams don't seize inside the bushings. Good luck
