Did you own this truck? [NY]

I am talking to a dealership in NY about an MGM 2013 dcsb offroad with 21k miles. They are asking just over $26k for it. It has no OR stickers on the bed, and some identifiable stickers on the back window.

What are you curious about actually? If it has a locker? You can look at the rear diff and there will be an actuator

 

No, I was curious about the history of the truck. Bed stickers are removed either when:
1. the person wants a clean look or
2. when it's hit and repainted and then they are not put back on

And, just because it's at a dealer in NY doesn't mean that's where it was traded in if it ended up at an auction. I just figured that someone trading in a vehicle in NY might know it was theirs based upon the stickers in the back window that were not removed by the dealership. And the selling dealer's name is on the pic of the truck. In the lower left corner.

It's obviously an OffRoad as there are all the right buttons on the dash and the outlet in the bed. Unless all of that is fake, which I do not believe to be the case.

 

Hmm usually if the bed side stickers are gone it's because the previous owner removed them. Or it's not an O/R model. If it was in an accident and professionally repaired, I'm sure the body guy would put the decals back on./

 

That has to be the most common Tacoma in the area. DCSB and Magnetic Grey. Can't say I've seen it around here and I'm only 10 miles from the dealer. Dealer does pretty decent volume and swapping vehicles amongst dealers is common practice.

 

Yeah, again- I figured if someone saw the decals and color, etc... that they'd know it used to be theirs. That's all.

I'm asking because I may be in the market and they are over 100 miles away. Not driving there for no reason.
