I am from New Brunswick Canada and for as long as I can remember the coast of maine has been a favorite destination. Mount Desert island /Acadia National Park is probably one of the most awesome places on the continent. Cadillac Mountain, Bar Harbor, Thunder Hole, Bubble Rock, Jordans Pond......The list goes on.

But there is also so much to see and do along the entire coast. Camden....Rockland.....Wells....Kennebunk. All the way to Bucksport with Fort Knox and the Penobscot Bridge.....(one of my fave's) http://www.maine.gov/mdot/pnbo/index.htm

You can't go wrong ..... If you decide to drop into Canada remember you need to have a passport.

Early July or late august would be best. Late july to mid august can be kind of hot. The last week of august the air starts changing and puts off a feeling that fall is coming. It's slight change but it is there.

Saw a fellow TacomaWorld.com member last night at the parking garage near the state theater in Portland. Saw Bill Burr, it was hilarious!

We parked early and went down to Shipyard to check the place out and get some freebies. Then met up with some friends at Duck Fat for dinner.

Did any of you make it up to Old Town for the Factory Outlet sale? I was there at opening on Friday morning, 7am. We scored a 16' Saranac canoe with two paddles for $291.00 total. Retail was $699 for the canoe and $38 each for the paddles. They had a LOT of selections and really great prices this year.

    Cool!
I've already got an old Gazelle for my knockaround boat, and the GF and I have a pair of Old Town Kayaks we bought out of Craigslist a couple years ago. If it was closer I'd have gone just to look around, but it's too far to drive just for window shopping.
    Congrats on the steal, though!

Thanks! We drove up from NH and stayed two nights. I'm from Old Town and my older sister is there to visit along with my wife's Mom and two brothers so it was a good time. We went knowing we'd be buying and also knew they had a limited supply of the Saranac's available hence getting there at 7am on day one. Totally worth the drive.

Here's the truck with the steal loaded.... Also, this is with the new Toytec TSB AAL installed.

Greetings from a fellow Farmingtonian (Farmingtonite?)!
I grew up in West Farmington, up the hill from the ski slope. I live about an hour away now, but the hill's still got most of my family on it.

I asked this in this thread a while back without any luck...

Anyone know of a good honest place to get some suspension work done in the Kennebec County area? Maybe even beef it up a bit if the price is right?

I get mixed reviews on every place around here. I dont know who to believe. :notsure:

I have had an annoying rattle/clunk over bumps for a while now and have no clue what it is. I have probably put it off long enough...

I could probably use an allignment, torquing and greasing as well...

Any suggestions? Kennebec County would be ideal but I am willing to travel further for good work without getting railed.

    Thanks guys!
