Anyone else want to meet? We should make some kind of plans since August is only two weeks away? Wouldn't mind having some kind of advanced notice.

I was hoping to not have to spam everyone with a dozen PM's to get them on board. There may not be any other choice...

So....I'm down most weekends in August but I'd prefer not to do it the 7th-8th and I cant the first weekend.
More importantly I think MT-taco and I have found the perfect spot for the meet. We have spend the last few days exploring Flathead pass and Johnson Canyon, they're just north of bozeman and there are so many side roads and at least a few are loops. That way we could also explore Fairy lake area, Grassy Mountain, and Brackett Creek which are all relatively close. There is enough terrain to keep us all busy for at least three or four days. And Tony, there is a hill climb that has to be as steep as yours and maybe a little tougher cause I had 4lo-locker and couldn't quite make it. The camping is perfect just no actual campgrounds but some pretty nice vistas.... what do ya'll think?

no go there - there is a gate on the road that ties in on the fairy lake end and its always locked (timber sale area) so no access there. pretty sure it would be the same on the other end. There is a 'trail' but that is for the intrepid explorer who doesn't mind hiking the 22 mile span of the Bridgers - anybody up for leaving the trucks at home and walking the whole way!?!

I was looking at trials.com and i found a trail between fairy lake that didn't "appear" to have a gate. It is not really a well made road, its more of a trail. I might go up next week and scope it out.

I Think I saw that one when we drove the pass the other day. There was a gate but a perfectly good road around it. And I have never taken the back road down to Ringling...we could invade the town for lunch one day

So I will be gone from the 8th to around the 16th so any other time works for me.

Looks like thats the only one that doesn't conflict with anyone else's plans so far - I'm out 14/15, you are out 21/22, MTyoter is out 7/8 and MTtaco is out 7/8 and 14/15.

Might be best for me too, hopefully my allergies will subside a bit by that time and I can actually be outside for more than an hour or two...
