Mitch, I believe it differs. They advertise 10-12 miles. At the "Portland" event, the last sign I saw was 10 miles so it was a little over 10 miles.

I said Tiger hill or mountain? I meant Tiger summit! It looks to be all forest.

How do you know when your start time is? I was looking at the emails TM sent me, doesn't say when my start time will be.

Are those the people we were behind for awhile?

Seattle had monkey bars and rings as separate obstacles the last 2 years. Going uphill on the bars is a bit of a reach, but going back downhill is quite easy. The rings I think were greased up last year because very few people could keep a grip on them.

No. Seattle is usually more like 11 miles. Portland was right about 10. They also change the course from year to year at any location so the repeat at one event has some variety.

Should be emailed to you about 1-2 weeks before actual event. The time you sign up for isn't necessarily the start time you get.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Girl in the middle is cute, but I think that belly button tattoo is horrible. I'd have to do her doggy style, or with the lights off...

If I remember right, she also has her feet turned outward a little when running, not pointed forward. After being behind her, I didn't notice belly button thing.

Keep the lights on and savor it. Burn that image into your mind for when you're 70 and banging shit that is a lot more wrinkled.

To anybody with a 3" lift, did you install extended brake lines?

It's more helpful in the rear than the front for your standard 2.5-3.0" lift. The rear can get pretty tight when flexed.

When you buy the extended lines, the front are similar to stock size. I have them installed at all 4 wheels.

Mike and Ben specially ordered extended lines on the front but ended up swapping them out for regular length. The stainless steel braided lines definitely offer a better pedal feel than stock.

I ordered extended lines with plans for shackle flip kit for the rear, so +3" in front, +4" in rear. Had my pothead kid brother helping to replace, and he managed to strip out a few threads on the connector on the hard pipe as well as the threading on the inside of the new extended line. Talked to a couple places about trying to fix the line, and they have all said replace the hard pipe all the way up front, estimate of $300-400.

Got the front extended lines on just fine. I started the threading of those first, and I think kid brother was cross threading the rear from the beginning. He was using 2 wrenches almost right away, but I didn't see that until it was too late. In swapping out the front lines, I have come to the conclusion that I need aftermarket UCAs. The factory ones don't droop very far before they are catching on the springs. Anybody have about $800 for me to spend on getting some Total Chaos UCAs with heim joints and uniball? That way, I will be better set up for SAS, 12" lift, and 40" wheels

I wish I had the $ to do that. Why not replace the fitting? Cut the line at the flare, remove damaged fitting, put in new fitting, use double flare tool to reflare the end. Takes off less than 1/2" of hard line and cheap/easy to do.

Might end up doing that, but shops won't touch it, or at least the 3 places I've been to, because if they do anything, that leaves them responsible for any brake problems later. Liability issues. I haven't talked to a brake shop in particular yet, but thought about it. I still have to get the extended lines with new fittings.

Only caveat is that those are designed for folks with drop bracket lifts. I supposed you could go for the Icons for an extra $400.

Won't OME with Dakar leaf packs work well enough with flip kits?

Sorry I was referring to the TC UCAs with heims, not the shackle flip.

I am looking forward to the obstacle if I fully recover from the bruised rib I got from Oregon TM. Did any of your teammates wear a go pro cam on their head? Thinking about wearing one for Seattle TM.
