If it's over the Christmas break, let me know. Father in law in town might want to come shoot some stuff too

Jake, too bad I don't live within an hour of you. I have a couple pieces of steel that could make for a great bashing bumper that would stop rounds from a pistol, and maybe ever from an AR15.

Fawk.. got our asses kicked as we were leaving the dock after offload. Think this blow may be ahead of schedule; got a few gusts 40 +, snowing too..

A tumbler of Balvenie and a rolling diesel stove make that a little more tolerable.

well back from the dentist... Have to wait till december to see if one of my teeth will die or not :( God damn new kids.....

Will receive at least one crown, maybe two. They felt my concern with having to pay later on out of my own pocket. As long as i dont agree to accept money for this claim from workers comp, the claim will stay active. Which means if something were to happen to the crown and repairs, Im still covered by the claim and it wont cost me shit. :D Im happy now.. minus the fact that part of my teeth are still in a field rotfl.

Good luck man! All I saw this evening was a doe and fawn. Excited for tomorrow though. I'm finally getting a morning hunt in and those are usually my most successful.

Thanks buddy you to, ya morning hunts seem to be better, the big old bucks normally don't like to show themselves in the evening.

Nope! I've only gotten one buck in the evening and that was a young 3x2 last year on opening day. I decided having a social life on the weekends was more important than a big buck last year haha.

Well, saw an elk, 5 coyotes, a doe and 3 fawns this morning. 4 coyotes where right up the field from the elk. Managed to get a daily double. Popped the first one and he had 30 seconds of yelping left in him which brought one of the others right too him. I didn't even move them for the pic. That's where they dropped.

I see you didn't have a round chambered. Funny looking deer anyway. :D

It's funny how 'yotes will come in to a wounded one. I always thought it was some sort of rescue attempt, then I watched to see what would happen if you didn't shoot the rescuer. Turns out they eat the wounded buddy.

lol! Yea, I wanted to make sure any errant twitches wouldn't get me in trouble. It was an easy shot on him. They always show up during deer season though. He sure bailed when I opened up on the coyotes. .300WinMag is loud haha.

Coyotes are dicks. That's the first time I've had that happen. I've seen it on tv or read about it happening, but they have always hit the afterburners in my experience. Pretty interesting to see it happen in person. I was not expecting that.

Its cold and foggy this morning. So darn nice. I should probably by outside looking for a buck...
