You will be rolling up there with a noob. I believe my rig is at least equipped to keep up with 90% of the guys, but power without experience does not get you far.

Well when i first wasnt going it was because i didnt want to screw up the hood in anyway for the trade lol, but now the weather is bringing a nice amount of snow. Bachelor got 18'' over night last night and more expected. So hitting the slopes over powers going on a trail adventure.

Hopefully that snow doesn't make it too treacherous at TSF. I don't want to be sliding into trees or off cliffs. :( Probably the reason they say wheeling your main source of transportation is a bad idea

Hard to pass up fresh powder. Bachelor is one of my favorite mountains to snowboard. Big Sky takes the cake though. They have amazing snow and terrain.

Yea, I'm by far no pro but I think I'm slightly above newb now... however this is whole different terrain, weather, ect... so I'm just as newb as anyone here lol. I also don't have a full array of tools with me which sucks... and I have crappy tires which makes me nervous all the more. If it gets too hairy if nothing else it'll be a nice drive down to TSF :D I'm still excited though, can't wait to get out there.

Well I have my fire extinguisher (small though), recovery strap (just the cheap harbor freight yellow one but they've served me extremely well), three shackles on my truck, and some tools (though I'm missing a ton). I should probably pick up a small shovel, axe, and maybe see if that joint down the street has a 60" hi-lift.

I also have a CB if anyone else does.

You have to go to Bachelor. You'll never go to Hood again. Hood is good but Bachelor is better.

    Sweet video.

I will go to Bachelor someday... I won't be able to go this season though. Hood is closer to me, that is why I always go to Hood. Haha

If you could afford the gas and one night in a motel/hotel in bend, its sooo worth it to go. Best parkS(yes more then 1), HUGE area. The area is like hood but more tree runs and a different feel the Hood.

It's worth at least one trip. It's a great mountain. My only problem is that every time I've gone to Bachelor someone in my group has gotten hurt. Last year it was my GF with her acl.
