How long is the drive? New gears have a lot more friction which generates a lot more heat that can damage the gear oil and gears themselves (the whole point of the break in really). You aren't supposed to drive more than 20-30 minutes continuously on new gear for the first 1000 miles or so upon which you should change your gear oil. I then changed mine again at the next 1000 miles and after another 5000 I dropped some good redline gear oil into them.

That would take forever to get home and not to mention if something did go wrong then I would be pretty screwed. Insurance would most likely cover the tow but I would be probably be stuck in casper until it was fixed. I am trying to get hold of a friend who I am pretty sure has a nice shop. He has been restoring mustangs and various cars since high school so he could probably help me more than anyone I know in laramie.

Huh, they dropped the 1st change down to 500 miles. They told me 1000 when I got my diffs from them.

Huh, I plan on taking it pretty easy regardless. My parents live 15 minutes from the 2 towns I plan to work in so breaking them in would be easy to do there. I just don't want to mess this up with attempting a road trip within the first 100 miles.

You got some huh?! Sweet! I really like them. Only big downside to them so far is that your ride height varies with the temperature...

No, these are biological, fisherie, and wildlife technician jobs as well as park ranger. The camp grounds are 16 miles outside of buffalo for the camp host job. Would be sweet but these other jobs are better for me.

Was just going for an experimental edit. Dropped the skyline exposure a lot to get the fun colors. And it's also a cooked HDR. Bored in my hotel room...
