Me too. The area I live gets about 340 days of sun per year so i'd say our chances are pretty good.

By the way Gage, nice eye patch! One to go :D wasn't my favorite mod to do either but it's totally worth it!

haha! what a nice little treat stuck in there forever!! Looks awesome Gage.

I spent literally all day under the truck... Long story short, I went too fast on initial install and now going back and tweaking some things. UCA's were squeaking like a mofo, figured out it was grease between the bushing and uca(shouldnt be there and got there from greasin up carelessly). Tore back-end apart to get ready for extended shocks and 3* shims this week, and pulled the coilovers to bring them back down a half inch(they were topping out way to much on the trail yesterday, straps may be in my future if backing off the preload doesnt solve it...) And lastly finally got to the extended brakelines, which was a huge pain in the ass. Fk flare nuts and sh!t that doesn't fit in OEM bracketry!!! Took way longer than it should have, whatevs, droop for days now biatches!

Sorry if ya'll dont care about anything I just rambled about. I would have killed for a bhlm mod and that's it today ;)

    Haha Jesus..

And wait..you have extended travel fronts?? Only reason you'd need limit straps..

Actually upon further investigation with Brady. He found out the 5100s actually off the most travel for a shock for 2nd gens..really weird. But that's what the guys at DSM said..

    I meant other then a 2.5x8 or 2.5x10 obviously..

    I'm in AK...

Plus I'd never do so,ething like that to his truck. I'd hate it if he did it to mine. Don't mess with another mans rig..weather it's a nice mod or not. Haha

Nope I do not have extended travel fronts. I can't remember, is there a limiter bump in the shock if it's not the extended version? It just didn't sound good yesterday, any sharp drop off the tire would go over it would clunk out... Kinda pissed the rebound valving shims are so panzy wtf, it's like they're offering no rebound pressure at all.

And yea, i'm going to run the billy 5100 10.9" travels in the rear until I feel i need something better... It has just about perfect comp and ext numbers for the expo pack. Sooooo, if you know anyone who wants 2.5" king resi rears I'll cut them a good deal! They're 24.3 extended length shocks. If I had DSM fix them for me they'd still be an 8" travel shock... not worth it for me.

^ yea man it all depends on personalities. I'm a bit OCD so i've always gotta do it myself. It has been so damn hard for me to go to the dealer and let them do the free oil changes! I even tell them to skip the free wash cuz I don't want them driving it across town to get it washed... am I :der: or what!

And yes today was a long ass day crawling around on the concrete floor... But it was definitely enjoyable so i'll quite my complaining.

I've seen the insides before and they would be easy to just put new shims in but then i've gotta get new fluids and find somewhere to charge my nitro... first world problems.

Yea, skids are on the list but probably wont happen for a while. Never once ran into a spot where I needed more approach angle(new bumper), that may change on shoshone... The list, just so damn big... next year.

The truck is acting like the track car right now. When you put something new on or change something, there is always something to fix after you see how it all jives together. I hate this stage! Can't wait till it's all just maintenance work...

I sort of saw this too many mods not enough time/cash thing coming but you just have to be able to go anywhere right!? lol
