Dude I'm out for this weekend end. My bed is crooked and I need to fix the mount. Hoping to do that tomorrow. But it throws off everything else. So Frank won't be ready.

However. I think for the 4th of July we do goose? My dad is back for that weekend and wants to run it. Grant will be driving and a guy from billings named Tom will be joining us I hope. He drives a Nissan. Kinda short notice but my summer is going not as planned anymore

I miss having the winter off to work on Frank...June is over and I haven't been camping once freaking sucks.

 

What happened to the bed mount/mounts?

 

It's not so much the actual mount on the frame as it is the part of the bed that sits on the mount. The one front passenger side. It has caved in the crossmember about 3/8-1/2". Hopping a new longer bolt amen if washers will sufice. It makes the whole corn of the bed low. Makes my new bed rack crazy crooked. Haha

Yea..I guess. I just want to spend as much time up there as I can since I'm not here hardly anymore. Sucks. I miss all the sweetens trips and just the day trips even. Just don't have time to get Frank going and get up there and work it seems. Stupid.

What caused that? Was it from the old rack? A lot of extra weight maybe?

 

Yea possibly..or the co2 bottle there...although technically it was mounted to the rack..

It's all just sheet metal really. So not too suprised.

Damn near ready to flat bed it of custom bed it..ha

But not worth doing that until cage and 4 link happens.

I went back and looked and I actually didn't have stock shackles with that setup..but my pipe is still bent different then yours. It's archa over the leafs slightly. Just enough anyways. Yours needs to do that.

I miss living here. I wish I could take a year off and just be here before going to LA after school.

My wife and I are meeting my less than adventurous parents for weeklong vacation in the Jackson/ Yellowstone area. We will be there 3rd week of September. Im trying to find a good trail/mountain road that I can take my parents on that will offer good views and a little backcountry experience without much technical challenge. Also, need input on MTB trails to hit, the faster and nastier the better! Thanks in advance!
