Our side of the forum seems to be pretty active lately. Hows Brush Prairie treating ya? I used to work out there with the Columbian.

Looks like alot of fun! Those trails look pretty crazy though...

to KalamaKid: Brush Prairie is all right... Not alot to do here. But we are close to the cascades/Larch Mountain, which I like. :)

Weyerhaeuser is the logging company that owns most of the forest land just east of the valley. You'll notice that if you start to travel east into the hills you'll run into signs that say Warning Private Property and so on. To get to a lot of the good places out there you have to cross their property to get to the state or federal lands. Unless you take a highway. I've been in trouble more then once for using their logging roads and discharging firearms etc. When I was a kid it didn't matter. Anyone could drive through. Now they've become extremely anal.

They actually own all the property around St Helens down to the Columbia river in some parts except for the Nation Volcanic Monument area.

Oh! I see.. No I havent had any issues. theres a good road that goes up to a spot were most go shooting, and even farther to go to some good atv/dirt bike trails. Havent found good/easy off road trails for our trucks though. Most of them you need a big ass rock crawler.

There's some good spots down in Washougal just outside of town in Skamania county. Also just north of Stevenson heading to trout lake. Like a 3 on the 1-5 scale. 33's and a bumper make them fun!
