    So me and the wife are coming up on our 1 yr anniversary and were talking about renting a little cabin in Wyoming Colorado or Montana. Does anyone know any reasonable getaways?
    We're looking to do some hiking, maybe fish, and other outdoor stuff.
    The most important thing to us is turn the cell phones and computer off, just relax and have an awesome time.

    Whatcha wanna know about MT? And how 'getaway' are you wanting to get? If you are interested there are lots of Forest Service owned cabins for rent across the state...most you can drive to, some you have to hike to...none have electricity, indoor plumbing, etc.

    You can rent some cabins in Island Park, ID. Its about 25 miles SW out of West Yellowstone.

    In WY I would HIGHLY suggest going to Cody. Its worth the time

    Have a nice cabin facing the Rockies. I can wake up in the morning, no cell or computer. Sit down in a nice rocking chair and just relax ALL DAY.

    I could only find a B&B with a ton of kids in Tarryall, but the cabins are what I'd like...Im still not in to eating breakfast with a bunch of people

    We have yellowstone! come stay a Lake hotel! Tho the traffic there is kinda crazy, tons of tourists.

    Id say come up to the Big Horns, much more quite and less restrictions. Great place to tent camp and you can camp almost anywhere :)

    5429 miles round trip. Glacier area have places to rent cabins...beautiful area...The Canadian Rockies were even better although... Lodging was pricey.. Pic below was a Bull Elk near Jasper
