Funny the only thing mine rolls is coal. Haven't had a lick of issues with it even though it's way over due for injectors and a new injection pump.

 

Probably because it's diesel.

 

yup we wouldn't own a gas dodge we know better.
the only thing dodge about what i have is the frame cab and bed which we still have mixed feelings about.

 

Hey now, my daily driver is a gas powered dodge. It isn't near as good in snow as my Tacoma was

 

your poor choice in a DD in no way changes my opinion about Dodges Gas market.

 

So far, my biggest problem with it is fuel economy. After having the Tacoma where I was regularly getting about 18 mpg, I have moved to more than double the displacement, horse power, torque, and run regularly at 13. It even calls for 89 octane gas, but I typically run 92 and that doesn't seem to make a difference.

 

is yours a 1/2 or 3/4 ton? not bragging here cuz i know other people get better but in the summer (when my diesel doesn't spend most of the day idling out side) i get 17 in town and 21 on the freeway. New injectors should bring it up to 18 in town and 25 on the freeway like my other 24 valve.

 

1/2 ton, 5.7 hemi. Came with 123k miles on it, as well as a lift. DB up front, looks like longer springs in the back.
I am at a point where I was looking for more than what a Tacoma could reasonably do with a truck.

 

13mg with that 5.7 and a lift is pretty decent.

 

boss's 2003 K1500 chevy is averaging 19 without a lift but 280K on the 5.3 just saying id buy chevy gas before dodge.

 

it's all shit some of it just softer than others.

 

Hey any of you folks down by Boise know if there are feral hogs around there? I heard there was a while back and supposedly the killed them all but I just saw a recent map that says there is a small population of them down there. Of course fish and game wont acknowledge they are there, but this map shows more than what they are saying. I guess its mostly by Bruneau area
